What TradeGreen is
TradeGreen shows you how news events have moved stock prices, with every story linked to a verified original source. It exists to give you context — the “why” behind a price move.
What TradeGreen is not
TradeGreen is not investment advice. We never rate a stock as a buy or a sell, never predict where a price is going, and never recommend a trade. Influence scores describe how much a past event moved a price — they are descriptions of the past, not forecasts. Any investment decision you make is yours alone, and you should consider consulting a licensed financial advisor before making it.
Accuracy and honesty
We work hard to show only verified information: news items appear only after being checked against their original source, and when we don't have verified information we say so rather than guessing. Even so, data can contain errors or delays, sources can correct their reporting, and markets move faster than any feed. TradeGreen is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything shown on it.
Market data
Prices and market data are provided by third-party data services. Prices may be real-time (when labeled “Live”), delayed, or as of the most recent market close — each price carries its own freshness label. They are for your personal, informational use only — not for redistribution or commercial use.
Practice Round (simulated trading)
Practice Round is a simulation. The $100,000 balance is practice money — it is not real, cannot be deposited or withdrawn, and no real securities are ever bought or sold. Practice trades fill at the prices shown on screen, which may be delayed or as of the most recent market close (each price carries its freshness label), so practice results are illustrative and would differ from real trading, which involves spreads, fees, taxes, and execution timing. Your practice portfolio is stored only in your browser on your device — clearing your browser data erases it, and we cannot restore it. Practice Round is for learning. It is not investment advice, it is not a brokerage account, there are no prizes or rewards, and practice performance says nothing about how a real investment would perform.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape, overload, or attempt to break the service; don't use it to build a competing dataset; don't abuse the “report inaccuracy” tool. We may block access that harms the service or other users.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The effective date above always reflects the current version; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
